 Inaugural Arts Alive Festival Set for April 30

Free, Family-Friendly Event Celebrates Local Arts

(Woodbridge, VA) - The Prince William County Arts Council will host the first-ever Arts Alive Festival on Saturday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Connaughton Plaza, 5 County Complex Court, in Woodbridge. The festival will feature performances, art for display and sale, and a variety of family-friendly activities - all provided by local arts organizations. Admission to Arts Alive is free.
 

Activities will include 13 live performances on two stages; art, photography and quilting displays; arts classes and demonstrations; displays by more than 20 local arts groups; and special children's activities Food will be available for sale by Okra's and Red, Hot and Blue. The Kathleen Seefeldt Awards for Arts Excellence will also be presented during the event. The award is given to groups and individual artists who have made outstanding contributions to the Prince William arts community.
